Early as 1980, the United States Information Agency invited public bidding for the Chinese translation task of its quarterly Dialogue. SDX Joint Publishing Company Hong Kong represented CTPC to enter and win the bid to translate and print the quarterly. From then on, CTPC’s participation in this magazine has lasted for 24 years, which has long been a major channel for Chinese to gain a knowledge about the life and people of the United States.
