The CTC-UN Internship Programme launched by China Translation Corporation (CTC) has remained an unwavering commitment to contributing to the cultivation of talents for international organizations and the development of international language service provider teams.As of today, a number of Chinese students have been working as interns in UN agencies and other international organizations, including UNOV, UNOG, UNIDO, UNITAR and UNGC via the Programme.
The CTC-UN Internship Programme shares, on a regular basis, information on job vacancies and specific application requirements of UN agencies and other international organizations.

Communication and Translation Intern
The Communication and Translation Intern will work at a UN agency or China Translation Corporation Team to provide assistance in promoting the UN public recognition and branding in general.
The main tasks are to translate and revise documents or maintain the conventional and social media channels, including content creation and management; to assist in marketing communications and campaigns for promotion and recruitment purposes; to support in content research, consolidation and creation tasks needed to localize and execute international strategies and programs; to assist in the preparation, edition and designing of Chinese publications and promotional materials; and to conduct assigned marketing researches and outreach communication.
Education
To be qualified for the Internship Programme, applicants are advised to meet the following conditions:
• The applicants should:
(a) be enrolled in a graduate programme or equivalent;
(b) or enrolled in an undergraduate programme or equivalent (at least as a sophomore);
• be computer literate in standard software applications;
• have a demonstrated interest in the tasks of UN agencies and have a personal commitment to the ideals embodied in the UN Charter; and
• have a demonstrated ability to successfully interact with individuals of different cultural backgrounds and beliefs, which include willingness to try and understand and be tolerant of differing opinions and views.
Work Experience
Applicants are not required to have professional work experience for participation in the programme.
Languages
Fluency in English (both oral and written) is required; knowledge of another UN official language is an advantage.

• Degree Programme (What are you currently studying?)
• Graduation Date (When will you graduate from the last programme you were (are) enrolled in?)
• List the IT skills and programmes you are proficient in.
• List your top three areas of interest in the UN SDGs.
• Explain why you are the best candidate for this specific internship.
